Odyssey Ai-DUAL #7 ½ Ball Cruiser: The Iconic Seven, Longer and Heavier
The #7 is one of Odyssey's most recognizable mallets. This version adds the ½ Ball alignment design to frame the ball at address and help you center your strikes. The Ai-DUAL insert delivers consistent ball speed and better forward roll, and the longer, heavier Cruiser build adds stability.
Why Golfers Love It
- ½ Ball alignment frames the ball to help you aim and center contact
- Ai-DUAL two-layer insert with the 19° FRD groove
- Face-balanced double bend for minimal-arc strokes
- 38" Cruiser build with SL 140 shaft and 17" grip
Technology Breakdown
Ai-DUAL Insert
Odyssey used artificial intelligence to design this two-layer insert: a soft urethane outer layer over a firm inner layer. You get consistent ball speed on off-center strikes, better forward roll and a soft, responsive feel.

New FRD Groove
The Forward Roll Design groove is deeper and more aggressive, with a 19° slope. It works with the dual-layer insert to get the ball rolling forward sooner, wherever you strike the face.

SL 140 Shaft
The heavier SL 140 shaft is matched to the heavier head for a heavier overall build that helps keep the stroke smooth.

Cruiser Grip
The 17" Cruiser grip lets you choke down to whatever length feels most comfortable and stable at address.

Who It's For
Fans of the classic #7 who want more stability and alignment help from a longer, heavier setup.
FAQ
Why is a Cruiser putter 38 inches?
The Cruiser build is longer and heavier, with a 17" grip made to be choked down on. Grip it at whatever length feels comfortable. The extra weight and length add stability through the stroke.
Face balanced or toe hang: which do I need?
Odyssey designs face-balanced double bend putters for strokes with minimal arc and face rotation. If your stroke has more arc, a toe-hang model may suit you better.
