What distance does the pole system have to be from the base? The pole system can be placed from 10 feet out to 60 feet allowing any club to be used. Can you use a tee? Yes - it has to be one of the 'winter' mat tees so it will sit on top of the astro turf. What happens if you miss hit the ball? If the ball is miss hit, it will not have sufficient power to return to the astro turf hitting area. Can you tell if you hook or slice? Yes the ball will travel left or right along its wire indicating a hook or slice. Is the ball replaceable? Yes the ball can be replaced by sliding it off the end of the two wires when they are not connected together. Is the astro turf replaceable? All parts on Glideball are designed to be replaceable should they wear out. The astro turf used on Glideball is of the highest quality nylon and will last for many thousands of hits. Is Glideball weatherproof? Glideball can be left out in any weather. We recommend at the end of each session you take the tension out of the wires so as not to overstretch them. Can Glideball be used by left and right handed golfers? Yes the pole system can be positioned out to the left or right of the case allowing use by right or left handed golfers. How can you tell if you have struck the ball straight? The concept behind Glideball is to strike the ball so it returns in the middle of its wire, to the middle of the astro turf. You will then have struck the ball straight and by repeating this over and over again without having to adjust your set up, you will develop consistency of ball striking, swing rhythm and tempo as well as positive muscle memory for when you go and play your next round of golf. |
