The Gold Series from Williams Sports will target the golfer that is looking for something outside the traditional realm of golf club styling. This series will share the same technological and aerodynamic advancements that are the core foundation of the entire Williams Sports line. The Gold Series will separate itself from the other series by modifications to the cosmetics and finish of each product. The most noticeable and recognized difference will the exquisite 24 karat gold plating on all exposed metal surfaces. To compliment this finish, we have chosen a rich metallic color to bring out the luster of the gold plating. The Gold Series will be the perfect choice for the golfer that is looking for the combination of luxurious styling in a ultra-high performance product designed to perform at the high level.

• TRIP The Trip redirects airflow over the crown of the driver to minimize the surface area of the crown that is affected by airflow contact, which is important in the reduction of drag.  • WINGLETS The Winglets manage and control the air flowing around the heal and toe section of the driver, creating a more consistent and stable path throughout the downswing and impact.  • DIFFUSER The Diffuser is a key component in diffusing and controlling the air the flows across the soleplate of the driver, combining with the effectiveness of the “Trip”, to minimize the wake and density of airflow off the rear of the driver creating a significant reduction in drag.  • DENSIMET Densimet is a unique metal that is new to the golf industry and a by product of the Williams F1 technology. Densimet is the second heaviest metal in the world and is used in the FW32 race car to bring the car up to the minimum race weight, while also being used to provide additional traction based on the drivers style of driving. Traditionally golf manufacturers have used Tungsten for weighting, but the Williams Sports entire product line will utilize Densimet for its weighting purposes pushing the limits of technology used in our equipment. This advance in material allows Williams Sports to maximize design capabilities enhanced the by the reduced volume needed for Densimet usage instead of Tungsten or other materials. This is just another way that Williams Sports is bringing F1 technology to golf.  • WFTi At Williams Sports, we have focused on utilizing the Williams F1 technologies into all of our products. With so much of the design focus targeted toward aerodynamic attributes in all three series of drivers, we have not overlooked the core material used. "WFTi" is an abbreviation for Williams Formulated Titanium. The material used in all 3 series of Williams Sports drivers is a formulation of titanium that was derived from the F1 team of engineers. In the golfing realm of design, it would be closely related to SP-700 titanium which was commonly used in golf equipment because of its formability, strength, and heat-treatment properties. This higher grade of WFTi titanium just mirrors the advancement in material technology that has derived from the FW32 race cars.
